First snow of the season.
Today schools were out. All the kids were building snowmen. And I had to work.
But Ed took some photos of Jared playing in the snow. It's on his blog... http://www.scrapshots.biz/acoe/
Grandma D is back in Washington after a long summer in Montana. I missed her first visit 'cause I was at work.
Lots of fun things happen when I'm at work.

Halloween
I have been so bad about keeping this blog updated. So I apologize. Life this fall has just been busy and unfortunately keeping this updated has taken a low priority. I'm also not very good about making phone calls and keeping in touch. So I'm sure everyone is thinking that I have fallen off the face of the earth. But that's looking more like a New Year's resolution than it is Halloween.
So, here I am today to tell you that I am very much alive. And just to prove it, I'll even post a photo of myself - that doesn't happen very often! Here's the wicked witch taking on the red Ninja. I'm sure the witch won. But the Ninja gave a good fight.

J took some Taekwondo classes when we were visiting family in Kansas. Since then, he has been obsessed with anything martial arts. He even remembered his moves and practiced them for the camera.

J picked out the costume when he was out with Grandma D. He loved this costume and got to wear it several times. The funny thing was that he was so excited about the mask until a stranger downtown said they couldn't tell who he was with the mask on. And from that point on, the mask was history. Because he just had to make sure that everyone knew who he was.

Are they serious?
Would you really buy this land? I know it's waterfront, but come on now. It's steep. AND it's below the area where a house slid into the water and killed a family of 4 in January 1997. Now what if I told you it's listed on the John L. Scott website for $459,000. Are they insane?
There's more information on the USGS site, including a photo of the landslide
